Carole Anne's Story
I live in Plano, Texas. When I built my house in 1999 I played golf a lots. I quit golf in 2008 when I fell in the alley behind my house while disposing of trash and broke my wrist. I thought I would do better driving the cart and serving the drinks.
I just sold my company I started after I left Dr Pepper Snapple Inc. CAM Consulting was my creation to help my Project Manager friends obtain contract jobs.
My Pets
We have two new Shih Tzus - Maggie and Molly. They were born Aug 21, 2006. We lost Mitzi and Tamaki, our former dogs, December 2006. They were wonderful little dogs who kept us loved and entertained. We still are missing them.
Now our new little ladies, M&M, keep us busy teaching them all the dog things they they need to learn in order to be good pets, indoors as well as outdoors. They really have had fun in my flower beds. Hope the dog traits leave before the flowers really start blooming.
Vacations
Pat and I spent a lot of time cruising. We have been all over the western Caribbean. Last year we went to the eastern & southern Caribbean. Our favorite cruise line is Royal Caribbean.
My Kids

aduated from college with a degree in Criminal Justice. He worked in law enforcement in Texas for many years. Now he is following his uncle's and mother's footsteps into Information Technology. He is a Network Engineer at a local Plano company that is a subcontractor for Frito-Lay. I have no idea where he got all his math smarts, not from his Mom, I was all Liberal Arts - Foreign Language Major.
Juli Anne, my daughter, is a teacher of young childred - preschool. She loves children and has more patience than I ever did. She is been doing that for twenty plus years.
My Job
After retiring from Dr Pepper IT department, I refused to retire since I love the job and the benefits so much that I started my own consulting company.
In prior career spots, I managed the delivery group for corporate payroll at Electronic Data Systems in Plano, TX. I have been a Program/Project Manager for 30+ years, 15 of those were with Texas Instruments Semiconductor Marketing Group.
Not sure how an ex-school teacher wound up in the Information Technology world, but here I am.
I have buried two military husbands but now am enjoying my family. Being a widow has its benefits at times.
