Carole's Story
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a fabulous idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My parents were my greatest source of inspiration. They encouraged me throughout my life and were always such a great source of support in each and every endeavor I attempted.
I left Tahlequah in 1973 and began my college days in Fayetteville. I've been in Arkansas ever since - but do long to return to Oklahoma one day. While at the U of A, I pledged Zeta Tau Alpha where I held the office of Judicial Chairman. I've been an active alumni since graduating.

1977, I began my teaching career in Rogers that would span three decades. I absolutely loved being a teacher.
I've been blessed with two wonderful children: Catie and Patrick. Catie is married and lives in Colorado. She and her husband blessed me with a grandson (Benjamin Thomas) on Nov. 13, 2009. It has been wonderful becoming a 'GG.' In April of 2012, I will be blessed again - this time with a granddaughter (Caleesi) and can hardly wait. My son, Patrick, graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in August and has moved to Fayetteville. It's wonderful having him closer to home.
