Carole's Story
After high school, I attended Bergen Community College where I received an associates degree in nursing. I worked at Hackensack Hospital on the burn unit till June 1978 when I then moved to Dallas, Texas. I began an 18 year career at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, working my way up from being staff nurse to managing a 36 bed trauma unit. In 1980, I returned to school and obtained my bachelors degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. I met and married my husband David, a pharmacist, in 1982 and we have 4 children. red, 19, attends the local community college but has plans to follow in his dad's footsteps and attend the University of Kansas. Zachary and Samanth are 11 and presently in the 6th grade.(Yes, twins at the age of 40!) I'm no longer working outside the home, but manage to stay very busy managing the activities of 4 active kids. I love to travel, and wish we could do it more often, but my real passion is reading. I will read anything except for science fiction. Life in the Reese household is great and I have been very blessed with a large, loving family and wonderful friends.
