Carole's Story
I have lived in Kalispell, Montana for the past 14 years, working as a bartender and at a Liquor and Wine store. I enjoy my social work atmosphere, meeting people from all walks of life.
I have two kids, a married daughter who is 27 years old and a 20 year old son.
I live 14 miles outside of Kalispell, on top of a mountain in the woods, enjoying the peace and solitude of nature that surrounds me.
I love this beautiful state I live in, the beauty that surrounds me, friendly people and the slower pace of life.
I always wanted to be a mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
To blow off steam, I go outside to get physical, working around my property.I cut, split and stack firewood, burn piles of debris,or build paths, retaining walls out of rock.
If I'm going to work, which is in a very social atmosphere, I need to have a triple hazelnut latte, a clear head, and a good attitude to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My 96 year old grandmother is my hero. She is such an inspiration in my life! She remains extremely active, volunteers, has such a strong faith and such a positive attitude.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Roxy Leppo-Burinda, because she has always been there for me, no matter what the situation or circumstance.
I have an obsession with animals and houseplants. I have 16 animals and who knows how many houseplants. As my animals pass away, I vow...Expand for more
ed not to add to my collection.
If I could improve my home, I'd finish my unfinished house and add on a lower deck with a hot tub. My dream home would be just the one I live in.
My kids teach me new things all the time. They have such a positive outlook on life, good heads on their shoulders and have a way of being on the outside, looking in when handling situations.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 50 million of it to cancer research, then spend the rest on worthy charities, purchase investment properties,as well as give to my kids and my friends.
My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be elderly. I was so completely wrong!.
I love my job and the people I meet. My goal is to make a difference in at least one persons day.
My best friend would tell you I'm easy going, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as reserved.
I share my home with my son, which I find great. He is a big help doing things I can't do, plus he is great company whenever he is home.
In 10 years, I hope to be still able to work . I'm going to get there by continuing to take care of health, with exercise, diet and keeping active mentally.
My favorite childhood memory was my parents loading all of us kids into a station wagon to go on a Sunday drive. We would stop along a country road, hiking or walking up streams.
I have instilled my "childhood" memory in my kids. They both love country living, hiking and exploring.
