Carole's Story
Got married in nineteen sixty-four
Had three kids, big house, and more;
But verbal abuse destroyed self-worth;
Felt like the lowest scum on earth.
Finally divorced in ninety-eight
Dirt poor, but being free is great!
Losing it all helped me find
The Self that had gotten le...Expand for more
ft behind.
Went back to school, got the degree,
Added the letters M.Ed.
Left Arizona, traveled west,
Now in Oregon, it's the BEST!
Addiction counseling is what I do,
Helping gambling addicts start anew.
LOVE the life I'm living today;
It all just gets better in every way!
