Caroline's Story
Life
So much has changed for me in the past 2 1/2 years. I finally got my act together and went back to school. I graduated from Brown College in December '03 with my degree in Radio Broadcasting. I am currently working in Pierre, SD as a full-time DJ at a country radio station. Let's be honest...I should have known I would make a living talking...I have always been so good at it. I am actually the Music Director and Web Admin. as well...so life is good.
School
Oooh, this could be fun. High School was a great 4 years. I can tell you that most of my best memories are from senior year...as they should be! Making Chambers of course...one of my goals from the start! Choir tour to San Fran.! And of course getting the lead in the spring play senior year was AWESOME!!! For those of you who were blessed enough to be in my Government class with Hoffe...yeah, need I say more? Oh the good days! And I do have to give a shout out to homeroom 396 (I can't believe I remember that), the greatest homeroom ever with Mikolich!!! If I could do it all over again? Oh yeah, and this time I would come out of my shell a lot earlier. Let me tell ya something...for...Expand for more
all of you who think that choir and drama kids are the goodie goodies...oh how wrong can you get!!!!
College
Okay, my college experience is a bit different. I went to Brown College in Mendota Heights. I got my degree in Radio Broadcasting. I lived at home throughout school, mainly because Brown is not a 4 year school! There are no dorms or anything of that nature. Class was mainly all about how quick we could get out to go to the bar!! Yeah, spent a lot of time at Joe Sensors! Good times!
Workplace
No flipping burgers here baby!!! Wait, I take that back...does working at the food court in Target count? Yeah, pretty sure it does. Oh how I moved from lame job to lame job till I finally landed my first DJ job at a radio station in Pierre, SD!!! I can't say I have had the best jobs. I think my first job in highschool was a hostess at Circus Pizza...yeah, let's NOT talk about that one!! From there to Holiday Foods, Cub Foods, Target and then finally a somewhat real job at Electro Sensors. And FINALLY here I sit in my studio playing country music and talking on a mic for a living? Does it get any better than this?
Military
