nnm Lillie and I are still thanking God for a blessed mission to Haiti from 3-11 Mar 05 with 11 other faithful servants. Fourteen converts were baptized prior to the Sunday worship service. After the service, we dedicated the KITCHEN/BAKERY TO THE "GLORY OF GOD". The building and equipment were provided by the International Association of Ministers Wives, and Minister's Widows, and Pastor Leon Emerson of the Now Faith Church in Denver Colorado. The prisident of IAMWMW is Dr. Janie Holmes. We plan to begin baking bread when a 15KW diesel generator arrives from Florida in April, or May. Our mission statement is based upon Matt. 28:19-20, Mark 12:30-31, and Matt. 25:31-46. Our goal is also to help the Haitian people to help themselves and each other by becoming self-supporting. Another new ministry in addition to the Sewing and Cooking Schools is to provide work for about 50 unemployed men to grow, harvest, and sell vegetables on a plot of land available to us.
