Carolyn's Story

Okay....Y'all, it's been quite a while. After High School, I married Jimmy McCabe. When he returned from Veit Nam, we were married, and soon became pregnant with our first. Unfortunately, Jimmy died as a result of an auto accident. Heidi was born in February. She is like my right side. Later, I married Al Gentile. No need to say more, except that he was the father of my son Jason. Jason has turned out to be a great person and an even better Dad. I'm very proud of both my children. This marriage ended very quickly in divorce. OK...... For a very long period of time I was lucky enough to own my own house, work for a great company, Hill's Dept. as it turns out.... Dom DiMeo. Later, I was employed in the wonderful world of insurance, worked at home, was on the road, and loved it. Dom unfortunately, got sick and for 11 years he was at home while I worked. My biggest regret in life is that I couldn't spend more time with him. That I had to work so that he would have insurance. Well, Dom passed away 4 years ago in Feb. 2010, and I've been in and out of so called relationships since. I've learned a lot, and most of all I've learned that I love being independent. I'm a yoga instructor, artist, and grandmother. Retired, busy, and relaxed. Hoping that life is as good for everyone else I graduated with. As always, Carolyn Hebert DiMeo
