Carolyn's Story
I am now 65 years old and happily married to my one and only husband, Alton. Before marriage I did a number of things moving from Florida to Tennesse. I went from Tennessee to Germany. I met my husband and moved to England. He was in the Air Force. I have lived in New Mexico, England twice and now in South Carolina.
Actually, until recently having contact with one of my old classmates. She had been looking for me for more than 40 years. I was taken back that anyone from school even remembered me or new I existed.
I was just the average student and not in the "Whos Who". I count m...Expand for more
yself very blessed and have gone and seen many places. Through all the goods and bads in life I have stayed firm in my commitment to God and His love for me. Like the words of Forrest Gump - "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get."
I have met many wonderful, talented people and am grateful for every experience life has brought me. I am happy and content with who I am and too WHOM I belong.
It would be good to go to a reunion, as our classes helped to get Dixie off to it's start. I would like to hear from any of you in the class of 1960 or 1961.
