Carrie's Story
Life
Since SHS...started college in Indy for one semester. Then became pregnant and got married to TJ Barshney. This was all in early '93. My husband passed away from cancer in early '94. So...I started back to school at Manchester then transferred to Ball State's nursing program. Somehow I managed to graduate with my bachelors in nursing all while raising a toddler. U since graduating. In April of '06 I became the evening manager over the STICU and the Coronary Medical ICU. My husband is a mechanical engineer. My son, TJ, is starting 7th grade. We have been homeschooling but he has decided to attend public school this year. I'm not sure who is more stressed him or me? TJ, of course loves video games and reading. Chad and I both love to ride Harley's. We've gone to Sturgis, SD for the bike rally the last two years and can't wait till next year.
