Carrie's Story
Life
After graduating in 1994, I went to Mount Vernon Nazarene College in Ohio. I majored in elementary education and graduated in December, 1998. I spent the next seven months as a substitute teacher and then doing data entry. Finally, I got a full-time teaching job in North Carolina. So I moved to Greensboro, NC where I worked as a K-5 Reading Teacher at an elementary school in High Point, North Carolina for three years. and then married on July 30,2000 We have been happily married now for almost 4 years. He is a computer consultant who owns his own company. In August, 2002, we moved to Blacklick, Ohio to be closer to Jeff's family. I am now employed by Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools as Interventionn Speciaiist for academically at-risk students. I am also currently working on my Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at the University of Findlay. In addition to our careers, we are both very involved in our church.
