it is a way to put these memories on canvas, as a kind of living diary for all to enjoy. To be touched by these moments in life gives me such a deep feeling and passion for my subjects. Since light chases away darkness, I love working with a single shaft of glistening light using black, white, raw umber and yellow ocher. Being influenced by the old masters of the 1500's, I use the classical method of under painting and a glazing technique done in oils. My dream is that you will never get tired of looking at these pieces and that they will become a part of your journey also.".
