Catherine Ann's Story
Life
I am very married to my soulmate Rick, we have 2 sons (b. 1981, 1986), 3 daughters (b. 1983, 1983 and 1991) 3 granddaughters (b. 2001, 2002, 2006) and 2 grandsons (2006, 2008). I was blessed with 2 boys, 1 girl, wished for more girls...I suppose the old adage is true-"Be careful what you wish for!"
I live in Titusville, FL and have been a resident here since 1997.
We are a home-owner in a small sized mobile home community, with access to the Indian River where we are able to see shuttles launch from the space center.
I have traveled the USA quite a bit over the years, and if offered which state I would like to live in, I would pick Louisiana.
Over the years I have performed alot of nursing and medical skills and techniques in several different fields.
As of 2002, I have worked as a landscaper, gardener, plant technician. My lot in the park here is FULL of exotics and tropicals (plants, trees, shrubs etc...). Florida State Master Gardener degree is in my future, but no time for myself right now, let alone college.
Keep Smiling!
editing with story wizard....
School...
I would study harder and would have taken advantage of all the opportunities that had been offered. The wildest thing I ever did in school was keep a liquor cabinet in my locker
Workplace...
Self Employed Landscaper/Gardener my workplace is my community.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong....I cant do the math.
I relax by cleaning my garden.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have gas in my car, a large amount of coffee, and cigarettes to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
my hero(es) are all veterans
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my sister Nancy, because I have nobody to talk **** t...Expand for more
o.
I have been Mom to tons of pets over the years. I miss my cat "Peanut" the most.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a a new living room. My dream home would be big enough.
On my kids....
I have learned how to deal with them as individual people, to accept their handicaps and quirks.
If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to veteran's charities, then spend the rest on my home, remodeling and finishing it.
My current age is 49. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be really old. I was so completely misguided.
When I grow up, I wish to be a gurl Burl.
My best friend would tell you I'm caring and loyal, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a complete flake (laughter here).
I dont remember what I dressed like 10 or 20 years ago, but it probably isnt the same stuff. I am 10 or 20 years older and have gained at least 80 pounds.
I share my home with Rick and "Littles" the cat, which I find to be my soulmate and a great pet respectively.
Trophies? My ass. My big accomplishment is a correct diagnosis and feeling regular.
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by seeing the gp regularly.
Joan Jacobs, we have been friends since the 1960s when she and her husband and kids moved in next to us. I always wanted to be like her, to some extent, I am
My first job was at Your Host, where I got paid not enough to wait tables. What I remember most about it is my feet hurt and the uniforms were nasty.
The one weird job I have had is being a petter and attention giver to cats at the pound.
The teacher I would love to see again is Bette Brunish from 2nd grade.
I have live in several states in the USA. I left NY permanently in 1997 for FL for many reasons.
I hope my old friends remember me kindly...
Smile!
