Catherine's Story
Life
After 8th grade graduation (1967) from St. John's Lutheran School in Houston, Texas my family and I moved to Alvin, Texas. I graduated from Alvin High School in 1971. I immediately went to work so I could get out on my own.
In September,1972 I met the man that I would marry. April 1975, we had a double wedding with my twin sister (Charlette) and her husband now,Lynn.
I worked in Houston until I had my first child (Crystal) in October 1979. In August 1981 I had my se...Expand for more
cond child (Christopher). I was a stay at home mom until my children were in elementary school.
I then went to work for Alvin ISD and stayed there for 14 years. When my husband took an early retirement from Reliant Energy (Houston Lighting & Power) in early 2003, I decided to go ahead and "quit-tire" so we could spend some time traveling. We love Colorado and would like to move there someday.
I do not have any grandchildren yet. I do however have a grand-dog and cat.
