Life
A month after graduating I gave birth to my son Gabriel. He was 6 lbs, 5 1/2 ounces. Richard and I moved into an apartment in Phoenix close to Devry. Richard worked afternoon & nights and went to school in the morning. I stayed at home with the baby. I made some money watching other kids but he mostly brought home the bacon. He asked me to marry him about a year later. We were married on October 20, 2001. We moved into our house September 2001. I went to school at A.I.B.T. (now called I.I.A.) and received an associates degree in medical transcription. I worked as a medical assistant for about a year and then once I finished my classes for medical transcription, I started working with PSI. I have been work...Expand for more
ing from home now for a year and it is great. The money sucks but at least I get to stay home and take my son to school. I just had a baby four months ago. Her name is Mya. She was 7 lbs, 6 ounces. I just started taking classes at Rio Salado for nursing. I have to start all over because my credits do not transfer. :-( I am only taking two classes because I want to spend more time with my daughter. Once she gets older I plan to take more classes. Richard and I are coming up on our fourth year of marriage and still going strong! I still keep in touch with Melinda Flores, Sara Bonit, and David and Tiffany Arvisu. I still have a lot of plans for the future so we will see how they come together. But so far so good.
