Life
After college at UB (anthropology), I moved to Kentucky (UKY) for graduate school in Social Work. I lived and worked there for 7 years and started feeling restless, so at age 30 I quit my job as an administrator of a small non-profit agency and joined the Peace Corps. second year in Latvia at a Psychological Center. I eventually returned to Russia and got married to a colleague there. I'm now back in the US, and working as an Assistant Professor of Human Services/Social Work. My husband is a Linguist and also a college professor. We both share a love of international travel, politics, music, and our dog & cat. In February, 2009 we welcomed the birth of our daughter Sofia.
