Cathy's Story
Life
Graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle in the Website Administration curriculum. Known otherwise as Shena Delian O'Brien. You can easily find me on a web search that way.
Married since July 4, 2001. Son Logan Scott born April 9, 2004!
School
High school is kind of a sad blur. I stressed too much about what people thought. I wish that I knew then what I know now about my health. I wish that I had reached out more to friends.
I still find myself having dreams about people from high school.
College
I didn't "do" the traditional college well. I found the 'net and my life changed drastically for the better, so I quit scho...Expand for more
ol and took time off. When I went back in '99 it was to a non-traditional art school. I preferred the independence of the non-traditional school, where there were no goofy school spirit campaigns and everyone realized you had your own life outside of campus walls.
Workplace
I taught myself how to become an internet/IT professional. I ran my own freelance business for several years before returning to school for credentials. Once I had my degree I worked in web development in a small office for 3 years until I went on maternity leave to have my son.
Now I am a stay at home mom and assist my husband in running our IT business from home.
