Celestine's Story
Life
I graduated high school in 1964. I married Coleman P. Evans two days after graduation. I attended Roosevelt university and later went on to become employed with the State Of Illinois where I retired after 38 years. I have 2 children and two grandchildren. Since I have retired, I spentd time traveling when possible and I love not having to get up daily. , doing things I wanted to do until my heart became really bad. Now I sat from day to day hoping possibly for a heart.
School
During my time in school, I had one guy I had a crush on. It was nice and I really thought that we would grow up and get married because we had dated most of my high school days. Teachers: I had no particular one I cared more than the other. My ma...Expand for more
in focus was to complete my program and move on. I was very happy in the educational facilty I attended and if I could do it over, I would. The only thing I would change is I Would be a little more freindly.
Workplace
My working career was involved with placing people in jobs they were qualified for. I did that for abourt 10 years. I promoted myself by testing for positions and being excepted by qualifications. During the 36+ years employed with one company, I really enjoyed the jobs I did. My employment with the state of Illinois involved job placement,supervision,making decisions in reference to unemployment claims as well as working with children who were abandoned by their parents. The learning experiences were great.
