Charlene's Story
Well, I am a widow.....I live in Beaver City, NE. Okay, yes, the name is suggestive!!!!!! I have 4 children...Chaniel-38....Chelsey-deceased.....Chad-30....and Charlye Jo-deceased.
I am...was a preacher's kid during my time at School of the Osage. I was on the square dancing team for 3 years at punkaharjo....is this how it was spelled....Guess the years are catching up on me. The years were from 1967 to 1969. We won the square dancing contest 3 years in a row. In 1970 I moved to Tulsa, OK.
I was shy, I sure wasn't in the "it" crowd. I lived next door to Dogpatch. Marilyn Teitmeyer was a sometime's friend of mine....usually during the summertime. My father, Rev. Frank Bobbitt was the pastor at the Christian Church west of Dogpatch. Our house was in the midd...Expand for more
le. I had a few crushes on some of the guys at school. But, went steady with only one of them for ..........3 days and broke up with him. In those days you...at least I was naive.
Guess if you want to know more..........Also, I am a therapist. By only have 2 clients now.........for personal reasons.
I always wanted to be a dancer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My current age is 55. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be over the hill. I was so completely wrong.
In 10 years, I hope to be in Hawaii. I'm going to get there by come hell or high waters.
My first job was at The Pancake House, where I got paid 50 cents an hour to wash dishes. What I remember most about it is I hated it!.
