Charlene's Story
Life
Hey everybody!
I am almost 44-years old, very hard to believe.
I married Joseph "Wayne" Blaw on June 27th, 1987, brother of "Glenn". We have 2-beautiful daughters; Ashley(25), Brittnie(22). Also; I have a grandson, caden, he's almost 7, and a new grandaughter, Emery, she just made 2 in June.
Wayne passed away on June 27th, 2000. Wayne and I were separated at the time of his passing, since 1995. Therefore; I am widowed.
We're doing okay. The girls did wondefully with his passing and are still doing great. I'm sure there are times they wish he were still here and miss him, just as I do with my own father whom was killed during the summer of 1976.
I am now with Brett Kuss. Brett and I have been together since, September of 2005.
I was the supervisor of Barnes and Noble Cafe` in Mandeville, but have been out injured with "Herniated/Ruptured Discs" since, September of 2000.
My best friends in school were; Kristi Smith, Dawn Fussell, Jami Ross, Julie Cox, Juli Thompson, Mandy Willie, Paula Russell, Melanie Hickman, Debbie & Dottie Speed, James Jenkins, Quinn Hebert, Gary Maestri, Bob Moise, Bryan ...Expand for more
Sambola(RIP), Glenn Blaw, Gary Gatewood, Tommy Jenkins, Timmy Steinhauer, Carl Dudley, Duke Gennusa, Joel and Scott Leonard and a lot of others. Too many to list, but I remember you all.

School
I hated school with a passion. Anyone that knew me, knew this. I skipped as much as possible. I quit school finally, in 1981, just 3-weeks into tenth grade, got my GED in 1991.
If I had to do it over again, I would have stayed and graduated.:( Hence; 1984.
Workplace
I am a disabled Lead Cafe`Server,(their new name for a Supervisor) of the Barnes and Noble Cafe` in Mandeville, LA.
I have been out of work, with injuries to lower spine since, September of 2000.
Worst place to work for. Work for them, you can wrap any and all other parts of your life out, family, God, all. You will live and breathe, Barnes and Noble!
Get hurt there, you have a life-long battle ahead of you and not one single person will call and ask how you are.
Military
No military for me, but I am totally grateful and forever thankful to the ones that are, which allow me, my family, and my friends our freedoms.
THANK YOU!!!!
