Charles's Story
Sorry people it's taken me so long to write this out, but I've have/am pretty busy at times.
Let's see where can I start? After high school, I took a year off. In that year I continued to work (McDonald's Manager, National City, UPS) before moving to Cincinnati for college. I attended Clermont College where I received my private pilots license. After 2 years I moved back to Louisville to train for my instrument rating with a Boeing 747 UPS Captain. While doing that, I also starting working with United Airlines at the Louisville airport. After another 2 years in Louisville I moved to Florida to continue flight training and to have fun! tor pilot license. Not long after receiving my Commercial license I got a call from ATA airlines in Chicago to oversee their passenger planning department. Not 8 months in the position I was laid off. Shortly after that I was with Chicago Express Airlines routing their airplanes in and out of Midway airport in Chicago. Not a year into the job, I was laid off again. During this time I was waiting for United to call me with an open position in the Chicago area. United called right in the nick of time. So, now I am back with United Airlines, trainer of Military Aircraft Clearances department. I'm doing pretty good for myself and can't complain. My next step will be to fly bigger airplanes or go into aviation management of some sort.
