Allen's Story
After graduating from HHS, I went into the Marines (75-82) for a few years. I was fortunate enough to travel all over the world (12 countries) during my military experience.
After leaving the Marine Corps, I attended Albany Junior College (AS) and then Albany State College (BS). I graduated with a Computer Science degree.
I've worked in various industries (local government, logistics, manufacturing, grocery, food service, public consulting, private consulting) as an IT employee. I have been an application developer mostly.
For the past five years I have been an independant consultant, managing my own consulting group. My primary business is supporting EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and e-Commerce. I trave...Expand for more

I am married and have 3 children and 3 grand-children. I attend the United Methodist Church and travel on mission trips periodically. I have just returned from Port Au Prince, Haiti, working with the children at "Child of Purpose" village for the ReachHaiti Ministries. This village is the home of 26 orphaned children who have survived the earthquake of January 2010. Haiti is a country in great need of prayer and support. If your church or organization is looking for an outreach ministry, please consider Haiti.
I enjoy outreach ministries, singing, running, hunting, fishing, hiking, golf, wood-working and spending time with my family and friends.
