Life
Got my B.S. in chemistry from U of I in 1976, went to grad school at MIT for two years. Loved Boston, loved MIT, hated grad school, so no PhD. Worked in the Chicago suburbs for six years, then saw the light and came back to Champaign for an M.S. in library sc...Expand for more

Moved to Santa Barbara in 1987 and been here since, as chemistry librarian and (for a while) webmaster for the UCSB Library.
Finally found a vocation I'm happy with, and the academic environment keeps me feeling young (or a reasonable simulation thereof...)
