Charles's Story

I was one of the more bizarre people in the school I suppose. If you don't remember me, I sort of spent a lot of time with my books, disliked the athletic aspects of our school and was a teachers pet of Mr. Adams, and that lovely Math teacher who everyone hated except for me (I can't remember her name, but she was always saying "Praise Allah!" which nowadays would of course have gotten her a pink slip, even from most private schools! I am still a bit bizarre but as an adult, it's rather more common to refer to me as "eccentric." Although a number of people were friendly to me, talked to me (usually when other people wouldn't notice. How nasty children are!) I think probably Cricket was the only person I was real...Expand for more
ly friendly with. I busy myself with playing the violin and other instruments, and really have changed very little since I was eleven or twelve. Honest. Career wise, I am a software architect, but I don't pay much attention to that part of my life. Lived in Saudi Arabia for some years, married Palestinian girl, had lovely children, divorced. Now, I live in France - please disregard the zip code, it's almost my former zip code in California and is my current zip code in France. Go figure that one out. Would love to get in touch with anyone from the school. It was kind of a special place, and for all the foolishness of children, everyone there was different. I guess most of you probably work for the CIA now.
