In December 1988 I arrived in Norfolk, VA for my Electronic school which I finished in September 1989. I was transferred to Dam Neck (Virginia Beach, VA) for my first tour of duty. I left Dam Neck in December 1992, and traveled to Argentia, ...Expand for more
Newfoundland, Canada for my next tour of duty. Arrived there in January 1993, and left (when the base closed) in October 1994.
Job was going away, so I cross rated to Construction Mechanic, and became a Seabee. Attended Mechanic school in Port Hueneme, CA from October 1994 to February 1995. Transferred to NMCB-40 in February 1995 and remained in this unit until my departure from the US Navy in February 1997. While in NMCB-40 I traveled to Guam and Spain.
