Charlotte's Story
Married in 69';had a daughter in 70';a son in 76';worked in a bakery in Auburn,Ma till they moved to CT in 99';got hurt in 93' but kept working till 02'when agravated the work
injury.Retired now.Daughter passed away in 81' from cancer,she was ten.Husband passed in 04 'heart attack while sleeping;Have 3 beautiful grandsons,Brett who is 8;Kyle who is 4;and Alex who will be 2 next mo.Did not go to college;love to walk,read,crosswords,word search,and my hobby is x-stitch.Have gotten several blue ribbons for them.Still laugh alot,like helping anyone,have fond memories of grade school;went to Girls Trade,got better grades there than in St.Paul's;was a fast runner then;today I have a total new left knee and it is like I never had it done,the pain is just as bad,so running is out of the equation.I've done two of the three things I've wanted to do in my life;the 1st was to go see the Macy's Parade on Thanksgiving;the second was to run the Boston Marathon but because of my left knee,I could only walk it, but only got half way,as it was only 1yr that I had total knee done;but I can say I tryed;and last is...Expand for more
I want to go to Hawaii,which will be in a couple of years.Do not have anyone in my life and after 3days short of 35yrs being married,I'm all set.I live in N.Brookfield,own my house,or will own it in two more years;my last name is Connor,my son and his girl fr.and 2grandsons live with me.My son owns his own landscaping business,he is a Real Estate agent also.My older brother Buster lives in Wor.my older sister Barbara lives in Vt,;my brother Joey and sister Rita were killed in 67',my brother Billy lives in Worc.,and my younger brother Paul lives in S.C.For the last 5yrs. I have been helping a friend sell ice cream at Carnivals through NY ;MA ;VT;ME;&NH...leave home end of May and return Columbus w/end...fun to see different people and things but this was my last year doing that..2011;.I have places to go see and things to do...did get to go to Mexico and would go back in a heartbeat.....today I have a new rt knee..but must say I had the left one redone and it is so much better so.. in 4yrs time I have had 3 total knee replacements...no gentleman in my life,but I'm all set /w that..less stress..
