Che's Story

Born in Oshawa but moved to Rankin Inlet, NWT when I was 3 years old. Moved to Jakarta, Indonesia when I was 5 and I grew up there for 8 years only to return to Oshawa for Grade 8 and High School. It was in Indonesia I developed my love of surf and sun. After Donevan went off to Western (UWO) and graduated in '98 with Bachelor of Social Sciences majoring in History and Classical Studies. red by the Durham District School Board as an Elementary Teacher in 2004. Spend my time off traveling to big surf beaches for the waves even though my boards get smaller every decade (surf to body/boogie to handboard). Beach checklist: Bondi (Oz), Surfers Paradise (Oz), Kuta (Bali), Uluwatu (Bali), Scarborough (Oz), Byron Bay (Oz), Cabarete (Dom.), Zippers (Cabo), Grande (Costa), Tamarindo (Costa), Wakiki (HI), Daytona (FL), Harvey Bay (Oz), Margaret River (Oz), etc. For the last 6-7 years have been spending Spring Breaks in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
