Chelsey "Chez"'s Story
I'm not sure what to put here. Like many of us, high school was a really weird time for me. I'm not sure the impression I left on people, or if I'm even remembered (I went to 3 different high schools), but Quabbin was the place where I started to discover myself and my identity.
After moving from the south to MA, I was more free to learn about myself, and there were more resources at Quabbin (like drama club or the GSA) to help me do so.

I met here helped me come out of my shell a little and helped me shape my identity, though I didn't realize it until many years later.
Okay, elephant in the room- I present male now. I use he/him pronouns and have been on the path of gender-alignment for nearly a decade.
Even though it took me nearly a decade after I graduated to find myself, I can pinpoint so many memories from Quabbin that led me to where I am and helped me be the me I am today.
