Hello everyone! I joined this today because it's time to plan our 30th class reunion (yikes!) But I'm also interested in getting in touch with other people in my life..ones from former schools (before Columbia) And also from some of the jobs I've had. Looking forward to the reunion...and hope to hear from you all!!
Here's the story of my life lol
I lived in Brookpark before moving to Columbia when I was in 3rd grade.
People from my pre-Columbia days that I'd love to hear from are The Smiths, (Jackie, Judy, Jeff & Richard) & Peggy Salinas.
Does anyone from Columbia remember what was so special about our 5th grade class? (Can you tell I had Mrs. Mac for 4th & 5th grade???)
My good friends from Copopa through high school were: Audrey Dadzitas, Carol Adloff, Gail Drahas, Sally Kirby, Debbie Cornett, Debbie Beckett, Tammy Wood & Patty Lehane. Some I still see, others I'd love to hear from...
I grew up near Wildwood Lake (remember wildwood vs. jaquay?) and made many friends from Berea. I've always wondered what became of them...wouldn't a Wildwood reunion be a blast???
I met my husband, Dave, at a traffic light (Pearl & Brookpark Rd..lol) We married in 19...Expand for more
79, and had 4 children. Andrea & Erica (22), Karyn (20), & David (14).
We lived in Olmsted Falls for 15 years, and moved to Seville 5 years ago. We recently bought a home in Chippewa Lake. We'll probably stay here until David graduates, then...who knows?
My first "real" job was with Firestone in Brookpark. I chose to be a 'stay at home Mom' when the twins turned a year old. I feel pretty lucky to have been able to do that...our kids are great, and we are very close.
My interests include camping, travel (hopfully more after retirement), reading, reading, reading, music, I read Tarot cards, enjoy spending time with friends, playing cards, shopping, going out to lunch..& weekend get-aways.
I've recently joined a group interested in the renovation of Chippewa Lake Park...
planning fund raisers, etc. The history of the park is pretty interesting.
Looking forward to the reunion...I'd love to hear from everyone!!

I won't give his name, but there was someone I had the biggest crush on from 6th grade til graduation. I was totally tongue tied around him, and could never get up the nerve to tell him. ha! I'll never tell!
