Cheri's Story
Life
I married in 2005. I am living outside Reno, Nevada on the Pyramid Lake Paiute Indian Reservation. My husband is a Tribal Member. Pyramid Lake is a beautiful, unspoiled lake surrounded by mountains. I do not have children, nor wish to have any children. When I married, I added to my family 2 adult step-daughters, 2 beautiful step-granddaughters, plus horses, dogs, chickens and cats. We live in a rural community, but I commute and work in Reno. I have Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a Master...Expand for more
's Degree in Human Services Administration. I am currently working for the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. I coordinate training and technical assistance for juvenile justice courts across the U.S. My job involves a lot of travel, so I am on the road at least 1-2 times per month. After high school, I moved to Austin, TX for college at UT and lived in Austin until 2002 when I moved to Nevada. I still return and visit Austin about once each year. My husband and I enjoy traveling.
