Cheri's Story
Life
I am still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up and after my last post have worked as the manager of an art museum, a taste tester for Hershey Foods, a preschool teacher, a timeshare salesperson, and now I am a travel agent! At least life hasn't been boring! As a friend of mine once said, when I go sliding into Heaven you will find me shouting, "WOOOOO HOOOOOO! What a ride!" I became a Christian again, when we moved to Pa. So I have finally found peace. My 14 year old son is standing behind me howling at the first line! "When YOU grow up! How about 'when you GET OLDER' insted?". I can't fool anyone! We lived on the beach in Delaware for a while, loved that, and then were driven by the smell of Chocolate to Hershey, Pa! I really miss the lake though and every year I swear this is the year I am moving home! Now you know why I am still single after all these years! I kinda quit looking after Rob died (Robin Koop w...Expand for more
as the love of my life and was murdered about 12 years ago.) But I haven't quit living life to the fullest! I am a travel agent because I will never stop traveling and there are so many places I still want to see! I live with my 16 year old son, Floyd, and my 17 year old daughter, Stevie, (think Pink Floyd and Stevie Nicks!) a neurotic dog, the cat from hell, and a german shepherd who thinks she is human. My oldest daughter, Crysta (KVHS class of '91) is married and lives in Owings Mills, Md with her three beautiful children. My oldest grandson, Tarin, is two months older than Stevie, and was with me at our 20 year reunion. Mikey, my youngest grandson is 6 months younger than my son, and Sara is 8 going on 28. My son in law is the guy you always dream of for your daughter, and very successful in the technology industry. As for me, I just cant get the hang of this getting old thing! I refuse to recognise that woman in the mirror!
