Chere's Story
I received my diploma from Grosse Pointe High as Cheryl Bondie in 1967. I had to leave school in mid-67, but earned my diploma as a graduate in the class of 1967 while supporting myself. Worked for and managed a small Detroit law firm until leaving for San Francisco in 1971.
Grew up in San Francisco ... the only place I really felt I fit in. Worked in law firms for years in the City. Moved to Livermore with my husband & lived there until moving on to Arizona in 2017. Still have family in Michigan but seldom see or hear from them. Don't remember anyone I went to high school with ... I was pretty much a loner who didn't fit in with the crowd.

umber of years. It got to be boring, like playing "beat the clock", so I certified with Microsoft and Cisco to begin a career in IT. That ended when I was injured on the job in early 2005. What's next? Don't know. Currently I live with my husband and 2 & 3/4ths cats [we adoped a 3-legged stray] in Livermore, CA ... about 40 minutes east of San Francisco. I really miss living in the City; it's where I fit best.
I was a wild child and don't recognize any names in the GP Class of '67, probably because I wasn't your typical classmate. I was a rocker and a misfit. I don't even see my name on the class rolls as 'missing' or otherwise. Curious, but apparently I was good at being invisible. Do you know me? Send an email. I'd like some memories.
