Cheryl's Story
It is hard to know where to start -- guess I'll give a flying overview. reach me at sherryboccia at roadrunner dot com
I finished college, got married, taught for 20 yrs, gave birth to 2 children and
adopted 2 more. Got divorced with 2 children left at home. Remarried and went
back to college to become an accountant. Worked at accounting for a few years
and my husband became ill and died after a 5 yr illness. My last child was 10.
After a few more years of working I began to have problems with falling and was
finally diagnosed with an au...Expand for more
toimmune disease that is attacking my nerves. I can
no longer walk, but I have a killer electric wheelchair. It has affected my
breathing and I am on a ventilator (that fits on the back of my chair). It is
slowly working on my hands and arms, but I can still type and I can still talk a
blue streak!
For the last 3 years I have lived in a nursing home. I am near my family. I
have a lot of spare time now and am trying to use it productively. I recently
got a laptop from my church and am trying to reconnect with old and dear
friends.
