Cheryl's Story
Life has a way of taking you full circle...I left Maine in the '80s, went to Connecticut, Masachusetts, North Carolina (twice), New Hampshire and back to Maine.
I'm the mother of two, Amanda will be 20 this year and is a junior at Unity College; and James is 17 and attending Windham HS and just completed his second year in Lacrosse!! Go Eagles!! Though he did have a horrible accident last week in the game against SPHS!! My son was carried off on a stretcher to MMC with a very scary back injury. All is well...and it ended up not being serious. Thanks to all the SPHS parents who offered assistance.

th us since he was 10 days old. I've been a foster parent for almost 12 years now. I've specialized in therapeutic level children with high needs and intense behavior issues.
Presently, I run my own business as a scopist (legal editor for court reporters) and play part-time as a dog groomer (got to have some creative output here!) Other than the usual life commitments, I paint, write for small publications and various areas on the Internet, moved from classical violin to fiddling (Irish and French-Canadien jigs and reels), read voraciously as always, garden, antique hunting....there's more...just the list will get boring.
