Life
I would love to hear from anyone who knows me. I always try to find time for old friends and new. Life is so short, we need to grab every ray of sunshine and delight in it.
As many of you know, my first and only child, at the time, was murdered in 1989. It has been a very long hard road, but God saw to it that I heal, and continue to every day. I went back to school after Tony was killed and graduated from University of So. CA with a BS in Occupational Therapy. I worked with severely handicapped children for some time.
In 1997, my former husband and I adopted precious 4-year-old twins from Russia. They are now almost 15 years-old,and are a beaming light in my life. I have returned to school in pursuit of my Masters in Business Management. I will graduate in Oct. 08. I am ...Expand for more
currently working full-time as an occupational therapist with the geriatric population, but must admit, I am tired of direct patient care; thus the Master's in Business. It is pretty hard being in school,working full-time and raising teenage daughters, being a single mom. Sometimes I think about how old I am becoming and seeing the changes that take place physically. Sometimes we don't have a lot of control over physical changes, but we do have control over the way we view life. In 1989, I had a choice of either becoming bitter or better. I couldn't understand that at the time. But today I realize I have become a better person in all aspects of my life.
