Cheryl's Story
I am living in Vancouver Washington. My husband Joe and I have been married for 30 years, we are a part of a ministry.
I always wanted to be a Social worker when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I enjoy walking, my family and pets.
I have lived most of my life in California, Colorado, this is my 3rd stay in the Pacific NW and we have made this our home.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Ramona Lemon, because she has been on my heart all these years.
I love animals from horses to dogs & cats. Chidren are my passion. I enjoy the work we do with our outreach ministry in our community and what we have been able to give back to our community.
That my first marriage did not last. We were very young. I was blessed with 3 wonderful children from that marriage. I then remarried and was blessed with 2 more children, both my ex-husband have passed away and my current marriage of 30 years has resulted in a wonderfully ...Expand for more
blended family.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my garage and add on a playroom/family room. My dream home would be a farm with acreage for animals.
My children have shown me that we are all are different and unique have taught me paticents with unconditional love.
My drama teacher in 7th grade was Mr Phillips and he had the most impact on me over the years.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 1 million of it to out reach ministries, then spend the rest on family, friends and those in need.
My current age is 63. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be Grandparents. I was so completely right.
My best friend would tell you I'm very caring, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet.
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by my grace of the Lord.
It would surprise everyone that I went to school with that I am now in a recovery minsitry.
The stories shared with my Great Grandparents would be my most cherished childhood memory
