Cheryl's Story

Once there was a girl who was born in Detroit Michigan. She was born in quiet because not many people knew she was coming. She grew fast and was confused about many things. She was a friendly type, but inside she was unsure of her tremendous possibilities. She was happy and sad. But usually not at the same time. She was able to see humor in unexpected places. She had many interests and liked to do so many things, that sometimes she would do too many and say to herself "I need to slow down and not do too many things. Maybe I'll do fewer things but try to enjoy them more," but that didn't work for long because she loved so many things and enjoyed the company of people. She met hundreds, maybe even thousands of people. She made some good friends and influenced some people. Sometimes she wasn't sure how she influenced them, but surely they would be forever changed by her... incredible...influence. She made things. Music, love, art, babies, you know, a real maker of beauty. Sometimes she even made a mess, but she would eventually get around to cleaning it up....Expand for more
or not. I would love to tell you more but I have so many things to do. Check back and hopefully I'll have something worthwhile to add. If you go to myspace dot com and add /cherstrebel, you can hear and see what I've been up to. Here are some stories for you: I always wanted to be a go-go dancer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a keen idea. As it turns out, they were drunk. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have water, cell-phone, and pencil/paper/calendar to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I love Dr Horrible. He is caught between good and bad and he is driven to follow his passion The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my dog Sasha, because she died.. I've learned from my kids that people are more important than things. I once won a case of salad dressing for a Salmon Patty recipe I posted on-line. My first job was at making phone calls from Bonnie Bells' basement, where I got paid money to sell magazines. What I remember most about it is making up names and going to Taco Bell after.
