Cheryl's Story
For someone who likes to talk a lot, I had to use the story wizard to get started! What has been my biggest surprise in life? Some people can be so manipulative, deceitful and evil. Therefore, it is not always easy to distinguish between the good guys and the bad guys. Yeah, I've been burned a few times. What have I learned from my kids? Everything! I have great kids who have taught me to be patient, open-minded, and not to sweat the small stuff because I will need the energy for something bigger! I encourage them to be themselves and experience life. I was so naive in school. If only I could live those years over knowing what I know now. ow me very well would probably describe me as stand-offish. I don't notice particular people around me (like in stores). Ask Nancy Woodruff. I saw her in Wal Mart one time and smiled at her because she smiled at me. I was two aisles over when I realized who she was. I was in my own little world that day! Plus, if I'm not in the mood to be sociable, I might deliberately go down a different aisle to avoid someone I know. Come on now, everyone does it, admit it. If I could change one thing about my life, I would have taken better care of myself. I have had some health problems (not life threatening, just annoying) the past few years and have gained weight. Oh well, we all have to have at least one imperfection, right?!
