Cheryl's Story

Happily married and enjoying my two boys--I'm a stay-at-home mom! I have been known to do contract work as an editor, and previously I worked as a project manager and/or an instructional designer for eLearning projects. My hubby, Russ Krichbaum, works for NWA (now Delta Airlines!), so life is interesting. I enjoy living in SouthWest Minneapolis.
After high school, I went to Hamline University for one year. I couldn't afford to go back and didn't know what I wanted for a major, so I worked fast food through the 1991 Halloween snowstorm then off to office work.
Someone then told me about technical writing, and it sounded like a good fit for me. I found the Scientific and Technical Communication program at the U of MN and graduated in 1996. ning and moved on to the corporate world once they caught up with all the cool things we were doing at the U.
On the personal side, I married Arthur Schwieger, the guy I was dating in high school. After so many years together (13 starting from dating?), I found out he wanted a divorce. We had a friendly divorce. We still email, and I'm still friends with his family.
After that, I had a whirlwhind romance with my now husband, Russ, and became a Christian--that is, now I REALLY know Jesus whereas while growing up I only knew about him. So, everything turned out well (but divorce still sucks--I don't recommend it).
I have two boys with Russ. They are wonderful. Lots o' pictures on facebook.
I occasionally see Shannon O'Malley and recently tried to see Lindsey Bowman, but we kept missing each other. I think the last time I saw Krys Cress was in 2001 at my wedding. I've recently connected with others on facebook. After September, I'll be done with classmates.com's "paid" feature, so go find me on facebook!
