Chester's Story
I left Urbana and went to Southwest Baptist College and got my A. A. Then to William Jewell College for the A.B .. I was pastor of churches while in Southwest and Jewell. I married a girl I met at Southwest. We had four daughters.I received my Ph. D. from Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. After a couple of pastorates, I went to teach Philosophy and Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Later I went to Golden Gate Seminary in the San Franciso area. Midwestern and Golden Gate. Next I went to New England and started a new seminary. I ended by career by being Executive Director of Seminary Extension in Nashville. My wife and I retired in St. Augustine, Florida. I continued to be an interim pastor and consultant. One of my consultant jobs was with the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary. My wife died in 2006. I have remairried and now serve as a pastor in Palm Coast, Florida.
