Chilton's Story
Life
I play more music than I listen to, but strictly amateur; mostly the 3 B, Balkan, Blues and Bluegrass,
on ethnic instruments. Also I'm one of a few goyim in a big-enough-to-hide-in, musically, Klez band.
Have a good day job, which is as a Research Engineer (bricoleuer) which I came about the hard way.
I'm a semi-retired part-time part of a neutrino-research team at the Physics Dep't. at the University of
New Mexico (UNM). I've worked there most of the time since 1966.
Got a degree in Studio Fine Arts at UNM after spendin...Expand for more
g a few fantastic, formative, foaming-at-the-mouth,
but not-so-hot-academically years at Reed College. I go to reunions, still have friends there. I miss the
Northwest, especially this spring with the extreme drought (New mexicans can smell water 50 miles away)
but can't take the winter depression in Portland.
Married once for 38 years as of now (2002) and I still don't understand it.
I was in the army or in Albuquerque during the '60s, so I missed the the party. Is that good, or bad?
Did I really miss anything? Any opinions???
