a year after graduation i joined the Air Force. my first base was F E Warren in Cheyenne, Wyoming. i was stationed there for almost 5 years, in the mean time i had a daughter, Erica, she's 20. my next assignment was to King Salmon Air Base, Alaska. That was cool, in summer the sun only goes down for about 2-3 hours. awesome scenery, great hunting and fishing too. my next assignment was to Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico, very very nice town folk there. i was there for about 3 1/2 years, and had 2 more daughters, Iris 15, and Lillian 13. in 1993 i went to Saudi Arabia for 4 months in support of Operation Desert Shield. WOW!! what a culture shock, i also went to Homestead Air Force Base later on in 93, a year after hurricane Andrew nearly wiped it off the map.( it was still a devastating sight even a year later.) in January 1995 i was tired of all the moving around and i seperated from the Air Force and moved with my wife at the time, up here to Klamath Falls, Oregon. beautiful mountains, nothing compa...Expand for more
