Chris's Story
Life
Where to start....how about beyond Rhinelander: 87-90 lived and worked at Copper Mountain Ski Area in Colorado. I jumped off enough cliffs and pounded the bumps until my knees didn't work perfect anymore and decided to move on to a real carreer.
90-92: I then went to an aviation college in Iowa for a couple years, worked at a Coors distributor...drank enough beer there to sink the Titanic as well as learned how to fix and fly airplanes.
92: Packed up my little Toyota truck with my tools and a fly-rod and headed to Alaska. Was so freakin' poor when I got here that I stayed at a hostile where I met my wife to be.(I was just a little less poor than her, I think thats why she hung out with me..I won her over by catching a giant King Salmon by the tail at the Ninilchik River....her and her friend ate the whole damn thing!!!!)
92-2000: Worked in the aviation business fixing and flying all kinds of planes all over Alaska.
2000-06: Got a call from an ol' beer drinking buddy who worked in the oil field and he hooked me up with a job fixing geology logging tools for Sperry-Sun.
Somewhere in here: hatched two beautiful little chicks; Jake(7 yrs) and Kate(5 yrs). Currently teaching Kate how to wreck airplanes and Jake how to fix them...see be...Expand for more

2006-Present: I did such a freaking amazing job fixing thier logging tools, I got a promotion to Nuclear Logging Engineer with Sperry. So now I'm using radioactive isotopes thousands of feet down in the earth to find hidden oil so you'all can fill up your gas guzzling SUV's!!! Ha!!!...everytime your pumping 20-30 gallons in that ol' V8 Firebird Trans Am you have out back...remember a few cents is going to your ol' buddy Chris's beer fund!!!!...Thanks!!!
Achievements: Recognized by the G.S.D.A.O.N.S(Gentlemens Scotch Drinkers Association of Northern Scotland) for most Scottish Distilleries toured by a westerner with special recognition for the 57.5 litres of scotch consumed by a sole individual in 10 days. I am currently on retirement status until my number comes up on the wait list for a new liver. I'm only one behind David Crosby who is going for #2. My hero.
Hobbies: Wrecking airplanes landing on insanely short gravel bars (my current favorite). Jumping snowmobiles into tree's, breaking $30 lures off on 200lb Halibut, scaring the hell out of myself in 20 foot sea's in the Gulf of Alaska, getting chased by ornery grizzly's who would rather eat the rainbow trout on the end of my fly line as catch thier own...you know, boring Alaska stuff.
