Chris's Story
Life
Hi everybody. I'm living in Arcata. I recently returned to Eureka Fire after leaving for about a year to supervise inmate handcrews with Cal Fire. It was interesting to say the least. The experience that I gained was unbelievable. The toughest part was being on the road for long periods of time. I also realized how much more I enjoyed municipal fire service versus wildland. I found that I just needed to be home more with the family. Ok, so I'm soft now.
I'm married and have two kidlets. My oldest, Morrgin is 6. She's at Pacific Union following in the Wildcat footprints. She is definitely a daddy's girl...Expand for more
. Yes I spoil her. I'm sure in 10 years I'll be pulling my hair out. My little guy, Colsen, is 15 months old. He's built like a tank. I'm sure he'll be hitting the gridiron when he gets to AHS. He is in to absolutely everything, high and low. I'm going to have my hands full with those two.
College
Well I'm still working on the college aspect. I've gone back to school to finish my degree, however, I'm not doing the party scene like I would have been 15 years ago. I don't think my body could handle it now.
