chris's Story
Left Avon in 1966 to Illinois and moved to Cincinnati in Jan. 67. Graduated from Colerain High School June of 1968 and joined U.S.Navy Aug 1968. Went to electronics school and served 4.5 years on a destroyer home port Norfolk Va.Met my wife thru a friend on the ship and married in 1972. Still married to Cathy. Not sure how I am that lucky. nd grew up here. We lived 2 houses down from the house she grew up in. We have 2 daughters and 1 grandson. Christie is a math teacher at the local vocational school in Massillon. Carrie is a rehab counselor in Cincinnati and had our grandson little over a year ago. I am retired after 30 years servicing radiation therapy and industrial x-ray machines. As Cathy says,"too much husband and not enough money".
