Military
I had fun in the Navy. My years on O'Callahan (FF-1051) were interesting with two WestPac/SoPac deployments, the shipyard in Bremerton, and good cruises up and down the west coast. I really enjoyed being a Naval Oceanographer. Where else could you pull almost 5 years of "hardship" duty in Monterey, CA ;-p
NAVEAST in Norfolk was a blast thanks to Jesse, Smitty, Angel...Expand for more
a, Robin, Kiser, and a wonderful team of pros. But nothing beats Bella Napoli! It was both the most challenging and best of tours. Amee and I made some wonderful friends, traveled a bit, and thoroughly enjoyed La Dolce Vita.
Finally, I never thought I'd find myself in the bayous of Mississippi, but my time at Stennis was great. It's a shame I had to grow up and get a real job.
