Chris's Story
Life
Redoing my bio in point form.
- highschool: state of confusion, conformity, community, comedic crisis
- post highschool: the pursuit of self: emotionally, spiritually, physically
- 30s and beyond: return to central core, my essence as I see fit.... another passage of life, where ever it might take me next.
People, Places, Things:
- a marriage with someone of the male gender, several girlfriends, a new wife and a new life as I tip my hat in acknowledgement of the old. I will never forget my roots.
- Toronto for 22 years, Nova Scotia for 8, Vancouver Island since April '06.
- career best described as: web geek. middle class in scope and value, but know explicitly how to live and not hate being humble. good money years, and bad, I've lived and seen almost every angle I care to see
- lifelong...Expand for more
goals: stability and happiness
Words/acronyms that *do* help define me (if you care to dig deeper than reading this bio on the internet):
transgender, feminist, canadian, portuguese, family man, ftm, butch, bent, open, dedicated, stubborn, inquisitive, introspective, geek, and very, very "Virgo". An aficionado of nature, art, music, politics, travel, wine, and more so much more as I age.
Dear old Friends: no matter where you are or what you're doing, enjoy your life to the fullest. Success is great, but how is it measured, really? I've lived the "dream", and then I changed it all around because I wasn't happy. So, whatever you're doing, I hope you're happy, and healthy (or as healthy as you can be).
"The Future Belongs to Those Who Believe in the Beauty of Their Dreams"
Cheers,
Chris Morte
