Workplace
Ive been with Meijer (Central Ave) for about 2 and a 1/2 years now. Meijer time is doubled so it feels like 5 years. I started out as a bagger for about half a year. Went to cashier the day i could (my 18th birthday). I then became a Lead Cahier (who is sort of the person who controls what the cashiers and baggers do). Shortly after, I was offered a roll in the Systems department. We basically fixed computers and lane registers and other miscellaneous tasks. evention. There are three positions in LP. Greeter (the old people that stand at the door and say "Hello"), LPC (Loss Prevention Coordinator. Thats what I do. We have many many responsibilities. We also were tan shirts that look like Boy Scouts of America shirts.) Lastly, there are the Detectives. They wear plain clothes and mainly catch theives. Once again, they have many responsibilities, but catching theives is what theyre generally recognized for. Hopefully, I will be a Detective ASAP. I only need to wait for an opening.
