Chris's Story
Life
After high school, I went to Goldenwest JC. I kept running track and cross country. Undecided as to what I wanted to do, I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. I was stationed in Germany and traveled throughout Europe. After 4 years in the Air Force, I was fortunate to work for Mattel Toys Inc. I rose through the entry level ranks and became a Project Manager. After 10 years, I left Mattel and worked at Boeing Commercial Aircraft in Washington state. stry, most recently with Johnson & Johnson, Inc. in a leadership role within corporate regulatory compliance. I retired in July 2021.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Industrial Management Engineering and a graduate degree in Business Management. I have been married to Patricia Smith-York, who I met at Mattel while running on the track during lunch. We have been married for 33 years and have a daughter Natalie and a son Spencer.. I live in Mission Viejo, CA
