It's a strange one! Park Hill, Indian Hills, Woodruff, Christ Lutheran (Falcons), Joe T. Robinson (Senators), Northeast (Chargers)best years-not saying much huh? and unfortunately one of the 1st to graduate from the New, protested, too many people that you never saw the same ones, my parents graduated from there too: NLRHS (what the hell is a charging wildcat). Have not been to a reunion, didn't find out till after when someone asked why I wasn't there...oops! Should've been more social. Finding out which friends now are Real & that there aren't many around, have kids, spouses, picked fences, moved out of state or moving closer to out of state, whatever. The one I've kept thru ALL of K-S
is still my best friend, and will be forever I'm sure. The other (2)daily contacts have been there for 15 years ALREADY & counting... and tied down. Hopefully, someday, maybe, oh- I just dream about it but maybe I'll have my turn & one of the Good Dreams will come true!
College
College was only something I had to do because my Dad said so & paid for it, so you know... B.S. (exact...Expand for more
ly) in Communicative (speech & hearing sciences) Disorders and a double minor- get this, Psych & Philosophy favorite professor- Danny Arnold-Besides listening to him, I was only there to get it over with, it was the last place I wanted to hang out, so I didn't make any friends until my Junior yr & I wouldn't have made that friend, but she asked me one day why I was such a _____. I wasn't at all, it was just that I was quiet & TCB- nothin' personal (& it was a Sat. class), from then on- unseperable! We're still friends, but she married a med. student & for his residency, had to move. They decided that they liked it better there. I was familiar with some of the kappa sigs and tri delts but never thought I was cut out to have to pay to make friends. Not that the ones who joined had no other way to make friends, I was just shy. The best part was partying and having a parking place of my own. Wasn't about to walk from the back 40 every day it was soworth the $$$! I only miss BJ's $2 pitcher night and seeing the baseball players in the gym! Now THAT I'd walk the back 40 for!
